Privacy Policy

Rasa & Root, ADDRESS LINE 1, ADDRESS LINE 2, CITY, STATE 000000, India. Questions about this policy go to hello@rasaandroot.com.

When you place an order we collect only what is needed to fulfil it:

• your name;
• your phone number, which is also how we identify you as a returning customer;
• your email address, if you give one;
• your delivery address; and
• what you ordered and what you paid.

We also collect anonymous usage data — pages viewed, roughly where in the world the request came from — to understand what people look at. This is not linked to your name or contact details.

We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or bank credentials. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay on their own systems. We receive only a payment identifier and whether the payment succeeded.

There are no customer accounts and no passwords to lose.

To ship your order, to answer questions about it, to process refunds, and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Indian tax law requires us to retain invoice records for several years, so order records outlive the order itself.

We share the minimum necessary with:

• Razorpay— to take payment. Governed by Razorpay’s own privacy policy.
• Our courier partner — name, address and phone number, so they can deliver the parcel.
• Cloudflare — our hosting and database provider.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

If we message you about a restock or a new batch, it will be on the number you gave us and you can tell us to stop at any time. One message asking us to stop is enough; you will not have to ask twice.

Write to hello@rasaandroot.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will delete what we are not legally required to keep, and tell you plainly what we had to retain and why.

Your cart is stored in your own browser’s local storage so it survives a reload. It never leaves your device until you check out. We do not use advertising cookies.
